Our Gir Cow A2 Bilona Ghee is crafted from fresh milk of our Gir cows, raised at Kinaya Farms and fed fresh, green, organic fodder grown on our own farm.

The milk is cultured into dahi, which is traditionally churned through the Bilona process to obtain fresh makkhan. This makkhan is slowly clarified to create our rich, golden ghee with its distinctive aroma, texture and naturally rich flavour.

Made in small batches, our Bilona Ghee brings together farm-fresh milk, homegrown organic fodder and a time-honoured Bilona process—creating a ghee that is deeply rooted in where it comes from.

ANCIENT ELIXIR

The story behind Hand-Churned Gir Cow A2 Ghee

Kinaya ghee follows the ancient curd-based Bilona method using milk from the farm’s Gir cows. Whole milk becomes curd, the curd is hand-churned into white butter, and the butter is slow-cooked for hours to create aromatic golden ghee.

Around thirty litres of milk go into a litre of ghee through a deliberate, curd-based craft.

STEP 01

SOURCE TO FINISH

Ahinsak Hand Milking

The calf feeds first before the remaining Gir cow A2 milk is collected gently.

STEP 02

Made from Curd, Not Cream

Whole milk is boiled, cooled and naturally cultured into enzyme-rich curd.

STEP 03

Traditional Bilona Churning

The curd is hand-churned with a wooden Bilona to separate white butter.

STEP 04

Slow Cooking

The butter is simmered for hours over a low traditional flame until clear and aromatic.

STEP 05

The ghee is dark yellow in colour, when u warm it it even turns dark yellow which is the main characteristics of the original cow ghee. Also the aroma entices u. Reminds me of the ghee my nani used to make. Using it since last 2 years. Found it genuine among the various brands who just provide cheap product and charge like anything. Would give 5 star for the genuineness of their product.
